I sit inside, mild relief, after hearing, smelling, and seeing the forest fires we have been experiencing across the commonwealth

looking back on recent trips to the blue hills that overlook the bean

hill climb n bomb rides, a sadly ironic rain filled day camp, and city escapes

many cultures & religions pray for rain, something we consider a damper to a day of outdoor plans but an essential nonetheless

today’s rain felt like a savior from the pains of climate change & optimism in a time of ominous foreshadowing
